# evaluation-limits

The **Try Condense for Free** experience is designed to help you evaluate Condense in a fully functional trial environment. To ensure a consistent experience for all users, the trial environment includes predefined usage limits.

## Trial Duration

Your trial environment is available for **30 days** from the date it is assigned.

As your trial approaches its end date, Condense displays upgrade prompts within the platform to help you continue your work without interruption.

## Resource Limits

The trial environment is intended for evaluation workloads and includes the following limits:

| ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Trial Duration         | 30 Days                                                                   |
| Maximum Pipeline Nodes | 10 nodes across the environment                                           |
| Compute Utilization    | Upgrade prompts are displayed when utilization reaches defined thresholds |

## Deployment Limits

A maximum of **10 pipeline nodes** can be deployed across the trial environment.

Pipeline nodes include:

* Connectors
* Transformations
* Processing Utilities
* Custom Blocks

If the maximum number of nodes is reached, additional deployments are not permitted until existing nodes are removed or the environment is upgraded.

## Compute Utilization

Condense continuously monitors resource utilization within the trial environment.

As utilization increases, contextual upgrade recommendations are displayed to help you continue scaling your workloads.

When the environment reaches its supported resource capacity, new deployments are restricted until the environment is upgraded.

## Upgrade Recommendations

The platform may recommend upgrading when:

* Your trial period is approaching expiration.
* Resource utilization reaches supported thresholds.
* The maximum number of pipeline nodes has been deployed.

These recommendations are designed to help you continue development without interruption.

## Trial Expiration

When the trial period ends, the environment becomes eligible for the trial cleanup process.

If you wish to continue using your existing environment, upgrade to a standard Condense deployment before your trial expires.
