# Quickstart

> From a fresh install to a deployed, observed connector: sign in, choose where to work, check you can deploy, deploy, and read the logs.

This takes you from a fresh install to a connector that is running and being watched. It assumes the CLI is [installed](https://docs.condense.io/condense/v3.0.0/cli/install.md).

    B --> C["Choose the<br/>workspace"]
    C --> D["Deploy"]
    D --> E["Observe and<br/>read logs"]
```
**1. Sign in**
```bash theme={null}
condense auth login
```
Your browser opens the Condense sign-in. Sign in with your Condense account.
**2. Choose the environment and workspace**
```bash theme={null}
condense environment list
condense environment use production

condense workspace list
condense workspace use my-workspace
```
Both stay selected for the commands that follow.
**3. Check that you can deploy**
```bash theme={null}
condense workspace deploy --can-i
condense workspace deploy --check
```
These verify your deployment permissions and the health of the services, before you deploy.
**4. Deploy a connector**
Put the connector's configuration in a file, then deploy a version of an app with it:
```bash theme={null}
condense pipeline deploy vehicle-scorer@2.3.0 --env-file ./scorer.env
```
**5. See that it is running**
```bash theme={null}
condense pipeline list
condense pipeline observe
```
**6. Read the logs of one connector**
```bash theme={null}
condense pipeline logs --service vehicle-scorer --follow
```
