# Sign in

> Sign in to Condense from the CLI with OAuth, check who you are signed in as, and sign out.

You sign in to the CLI with OAuth, using your Condense account. You sign in once, and the CLI keeps your session on your computer.

## Sign in

```bash theme={null}
condense auth login
```

Your default browser opens the Condense sign-in. Sign in there, and the CLI is signed in.

```
## Check your session
* `condense auth status`: Shows your local session status.
* `condense auth whoami`: Shows the identity you are using in the selected environment.
## Sign in again
To sign in again, force a new sign-in:
```bash theme={null}
condense auth login --force
```
## Sign out
```bash theme={null}
condense auth logout
```
This ends your session and clears your credentials from your computer. Your selected environment and workspace are cleared with it.
> [!NOTE]
>
> Your session, your selected environment and your selected workspace all stay on your computer between commands, until you run `condense auth logout`.
