Supported User Types

Users & Role Management supports the following user types.

Onboarded Users

Onboarded users are members of the Condense environment who have been invited through the organization and environment onboarding workflow. These users can be assigned predefined Condense roles to access Kafka resources.

External Users

External users are users who require access to Kafka resources but are not members of the Condense environment. Kafka Administrators can manage access for external users independently of environment membership.

Condense provides the following predefined roles for managing access to Kafka resources.
