Deploy Environments allow organizations to provision and manage isolated Condense environments for developing, testing, and running real-time streaming applications. Each environment includes the core platform services required to build, deploy, and monitor data pipelines.

Overview

A deployment environment provides:
  • Dedicated Condense Core services
  • Managed Apache Kafka cluster
  • Stream processing engine
  • Connector runtime
  • Monitoring and observability
  • Secure access controls
Organizations can deploy multiple environments based on their operational requirements.

Prerequisites

Before deploying an environment, ensure that:
  • You have Organization Admin permissions.
  • Your cloud account (BYOC or Zeliot Managed Cloud) is configured.
  • Required networking and IAM permissions are available.
  • Deployment quotas and resources are sufficient.

Deploying an Environment

  1. Navigate to Condense Console.
  2. Open Deploy Environments.
  3. Click Create Environment.
  4. Enter the required environment details.
  5. Configure the deployment settings.
  6. Review the configuration.
  7. Click Deploy.
The deployment process provisions all required platform services automatically.

Replica Configuration (New in v2.4.0)

Starting with Condense v2.4.0, applications can be deployed with a fixed number of replicas even when autoscaling is disabled.

Configuring Manual Replicas

  1. Open the deployment configuration.
  2. Disable Autoscaling.
  3. Specify the required Replica Count.
  4. Save the configuration.
  5. Deploy the environment.
The configured number of replicas will remain active until modified or autoscaling is enabled.
Note Manual replica configuration is useful for workloads that require predictable capacity or fixed infrastructure allocation.

Monitoring Deployment

After deployment, monitor the environment status from the Condense Console to verify that all platform services are running successfully.

Next Steps

After the environment is deployed, you can:
  • Create a Workspace
  • Deploy Connectors
  • Create Transforms
  • Build Pipelines
  • Monitor Resources
